Rear window clean up
While awaiting delivery of a replacement windshield without CRACKS in it I
decided to pop the chrome off the rear window and tidy up things there to
prevent rust. Along with normal dust and debris, I found some minor rust.
I also found that sealer had been applied to the outer facing edges of the
body which tends to collect water and allow rust to thrive.
I removed the hard sealer all the way around with a long thin bladed screw
driver, popped out all the trip clips, cleaned everything, sprayed it with
mar-hyde ONE STEP and painted. I'm going to reseal it later this week.
